Dyer, Michael - News from Mike "I retired July 1, 2003 from Lockheed Martin Corp. as Corporate Director and Fellow of Software Engineering. Spending much of my time on the golf course, with my granddaughter, traveling with my wife and helping my son-in-law build a garage for his limo business" Gerardi, Joan Powell - Due to family matters, Joan and her husband moved back to the Utica area recently. Glad to have them back. Please note her new address below. Grant, Kathy Lasley - "only news from Madison AL..my husband retired from Lockheed Martin in November of last year. We've been looking at various places throughout the southeast, where we'd like to relocate to. No decisions mad as yet…. but the South Carolina Coast seems to be our first choice. Will let you know if and when we decide." McGovern, Barbara Burgmaier - "My news is my first grandchild was born in June. His name is Terrence Daniel McGovern, and he and hi parents are living in Bonn, Germany. We will visit them next month in connection with a business trip. I know there are lots of Grandmothers in our class already, but now I also have found out what a special experience it is!! Hope you are all well. " Mikalajunas, Anne Owen - Anne and her daughter celebrated their 60/40 birthdays at an exclusive club. About a 100 people enjoyed a barbecue and other festivities on the beach one August afternoon. Even though Anne's birthday is not until October, this conjoined celebration was the best way to celebrate. I am sure a great time was had by all that attended. Happy Birthday Anne!

Royal, James - Yes, he has been located. The following is an excerpt from his e-mail to me…"I worked for a number of retailers since my Utica days and have been a store manager living in Pa., NH and then moved to Green Bay, WI. I lived there for 17 years working for Shopko stores then moved with them to Salt Lake City. I went to work for Wal-Mart 12 years ago and opened their first stores in New England. I have been a district manager for them for the last 12 yrs. I now live in Sierra Vista, AZ, which is southeast of Tucson. I have 2 children, Rene, she is an eye doctor in St Paul and my son Chris is a store manager for Dick's Sporting Goods in Philadelphia. We have a new grandbaby Lauren. " Jim's address is listed below if you wish to contact him. Tome, Kathleen Mohr- "This past winter my daughter was diagnosed with Lupus. It is a terribly debilitating disease. However it is, at present in remission and she is doing well. Please keep her in your prayers. On a happier note, my other two children are doing well as are my 7 grandchildren. The oldest will be graduating from High school in June 2003 and the youngest is just a terror at the age of 2.
